  1. I agree with everything he says about the future of leadership which is envisioned in the fourth paradigm, but I’m a firm believer that needing the consent of the governed to make policies actually works against the imposition of order into a chaotic system. Singapore(3rd world country), China, Japan and other nations that have taken themselves out of the gutter by the bootstraps didn’t democratise décision making. It was RUGGEDLY enforced. So my question is, what is the middle road, and how and where can it be deployed . Thank you

  2. Dear Akan,

Thanks for your reaction. I am not sure if the historical examples really took themselves out of the gutter. The countries may have improved economically; but … the developments raise a lot of questions… is wealth equally divided? What about the effects of the economic increase of wealth on climate, environment, health?
The fourth paradigms also tries to look at the big picture…

    Everard

    1. The big picture is made up of small parts, and in these case a small percentage of the parts in this picture holds power over the other percentage.

My point is it seems from my study that the fourth paradigm works more in theory than in practice, because making it the order of day equates to mass education and a radical social reengineering, which isn’t exactly cash flow positive for the bourgeoisie of the society

So my question remains unanswered…what’s the model ground that can be used, so that even if the fourth paradigm isn’t completely deployed, a path is being beaten towards it in today’s society
